Former Morning Musume member Niigaki Risa and actor Kotani Yoshikazu have registered their marriage on July 11. 

Last month, the couple surprised fans by announcing their engagement. In a FAX announcement to media outlets, Niigaki stated, "From now on, we will support each other to live each day in our own way. Without forgetting to be thankful to the people around us, we hope to build a cheerful family full of smiles." 

While prioritizing her family, Niigaki plans on continuing her activities in showbiz. The couple plan on holding their wedding ceremony and reception later this fall.
