AKB48 member Okada Ayaka has announced her graduation from the group.

The official announcement was made on March 3 during the group's performance at AKB48 Theater. She said, "I've been active for about 6 years, but I wasn't able to produce results and thought that I can't remain this way. I want to do something that I can't do in AKB48. I want to make an achievement as Okada Ayaka, so I decided to graduate." 

Born in 1998, Okada passed the audition and joined AKB48 as its 13th generation member. She currently belongs to Team 4. It has not been determined when she will graduate.
