HKT48 member Matsuda Yumi has ended her activities with the group. 

On HKT48's official website, it states that this decision was made by Matsuda herself. Details regarding the handshake events and other events she was scheduled to participate in will be announced later. 

In the '3rd AKB48 Group Draft Kaigi' held in January, Matsuda became a draft 3rd generation kenkyuusei. Her unit Fortune cherry, with Tada Kyoka (AKB48), placed first in the 'AKB48 Group 2nd Unit Janken Tournament', which took place in September. She was promoted to an official member of Team TII in November during the group's 7th anniversary event. Fortune cherry just released their major debut single "Himawari no Nai Sekai" on December 19.
