Sexy Zone has once again proven their chart dominance with their latest single, "Honne to Tatemae," securing the coveted number one position on the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking. This achievement marks their 24th consecutive chart-topper since their debut single, "Sexy Zone," released on November 28, 2011, highlighting their remarkable consistency in the music industry.

The impressive debut of "Honne to Tatemae" saw it sell 226,000 copies during its first week, surpassing the previous release, "Cream," which achieved 215,000 copies in May 2023.

Notably, the title track, "Honne to Tatemae," serves as the theme song for the drama "Uso-kon," featuring Sexy Zone member Fuma Kikuchi. Composed by Ringo Shiina after a thorough examination of the drama's source material and script, the song aptly captures the essence of the series, centered around "a sweet and sour adult love story that begins with a lie."

Furthermore, Sexy Zone's influence extends beyond music, as their song "Try This One More Time" has been selected as the theme song for the Japanese dubbed version of the movie "Transformers: Beast Awakening". Member Kento Nakajima takes on the role of the main dubbing voice actor in this cinematic venture.
