Korean idol group KARA made an appearance on the most recent episode of Fuji TV’s “Sakigake Ongaku Banzuke EIGHT“ to promote their latest single “GO GO Summer!”

The members of KARA once participated as MC’s of this same show back in November and December of 2010.

In the interview portion, the show prepared a special gift for the members of KARA. The gift was a basket full of dog toys & foods since each of the members own and love dogs.

Korean actor Jang Keun Suk who recently debuted in Japan with his hit single titled, “Let me cry,” made an appearance on the May 4th episode of Fuji TV’s Sakigake! Ongakku Banzuke Eight.

The show started off with Jang Keun Suk’s introduction with the show stating that he’s the actor whom the Japanese people is paying the most attention to right now after his drama “You’re Beautiful” was a success in the country. Jang Keun Suk’s debut single “Let me cry,” which was released on April 27th had received number 1 on the Oricon weekly chart. With this achievement, he became the first foreign artist to top the Oricon with a debut single.

After the introduction, Jang Keun Suk talked a little about his debut song, “Let me cry” and also the coupling track “Bye Bye Bye.” Then, he brought up his SUNTORY’s Seoul Makkoli commercial because he said that his friend that lives in Japan keeps making fun of his commercial. Korean group BIG BANG made an appearance on Fuji TV’s weekly music ranking show titled “Sakigake! Ongaku Banzuke Eight” on September 1st. In the show, the members of BIG BANG played one of the popular games called Taiko no Tasujin, where they’re judged with a score on who had the best rhythm.

The First match pitted SOL (Taeyang) vs TOP and SOL won with the score of 131,000 points. The Second match was V.I. (Seungri) vs G-DRAGON and the winner of this round was G-DRAGON with 152,960 points. After the first two matches they had a lengthy interview. During the talk portion, the members of BIGBANG were discussing their latest single “BEAUTIFUL HANGOVER.” They also talked about the promotional video where BIGBANG explained how they had to change the scenes for T.O.P because of his neck injury. After the discussion, T.O.P commented, “It still hurts a little…. oh… I speak Japanese very well,” which made everyone laugh with his conceited comment.

During the final segment, they showed the match between D-LITE (Daesung) and Shono announcer, and of course, the winner was D-LITE with a score of 116,460 points.
