Hennessy helps promote Wyolica with street session

allkpop

TheHennessy cognac brand has launched a new project called "Hennessy artistry" to help support artists. On their official site they've chosen to promote pop duo Wyolica, who will be releasing their first album in seven years (titled "Castle of wind") on September 29th.

The site features Wyolica in a 'one sound, one take' concept, which has been done before for other artists in various parks and riverside live events. Typically, these types of live events cause a lot of discussion and become big topics.

For Wyolica's set they decided to do a street session on a harbor dock at night to match their mellow urban sound. They picked the song "Aitai Kara" from their upcoming album and played the song unplugged, with just a single guitar and lead singer Azumi's voice.

Wyolica joins other singers such as Leo Imai and ROOT SOUL who have been selected previously to be a part of the "Hennessy artistry" family. The next session will feature singer ACO, who is set to make a comeback with her first album in four and a half years, called "devil's hands."
