Gouriki Ayame added to the cast of "Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu"
Fuji TV's upcoming fall 'Getsu9' drama "Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu" already features top-class female starring cast with Karina, Yoshitaka Yuriko, and AKB48's Oshima Yuko, in addition to the already great supporting cast. Now, it has been announced that the up-and-coming young actress Gouriki Ayame is also going to enrich the drama with her charms.
This role is going to mark Gouriki's fourth consecutive drama appearance since January. In the winter season she first appeared in "Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta" (Fuji TV), followed by her role in the spring drama "Asuko March!" (TV Asahi), and finally her current starring role in the summer drama "IS" (TV Tokyo).
In "Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu" she will play 'Hanzawa Momoko', the younger sister of 'Hanzawa Mako' (Oshima). Momoko is the exactly opposite of Mako and a very wild and kitsch younger sister, so to say, a right little devil.
Gouriki commented, "I was very surprised and happy about the offer. I'm very nervous and I'll try my best not to be too much of a burden for everyone else, while showing you my brightness and energy." About the drama she stated, "It's full of grown-up love and emotions (laughs). My character, Momoko, is still very young, though (laughs). I hope I will play her good enough that you will eventually start to hate her."
She also talked about Oshima, who plays her older sister in the drama, "Oshima is very kind and I admire her a lot. She has such a soothing and carefree aura."
"Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu" will premier on Fuji TV in October.
