Popular child actress Ashida Mana recently attended the open recording for the upcoming animated film "Jewel Pets the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess", charming the fans with her adorable reaction to the giant pudding brought to the event.

The recording featured the scenes in which Princess Mana of Sweets Land (played by Ashida) meets the Jewelpets. A very focused Ashida ran through the recording in one shot without making any mistakes, earning her praise from the other voice actors and staff attending the event. "They were so cute they made me want to squeeze them tight," she said of 'co-starring' with the Jewelpets.

Voice actresses Saito Ayaka and Sasaki Nozomi (not affiliated with the model) joined the petite star at the event, where they surprised Ashida with a gigantic 'Princess Pudding' 27 centimeters tall and 30 centimeters around after the recording. The pudding weighed a shocking nine kilograms, feeding approximately 128 people. "Wow, it's sooooo amazing! Is it a pudding you can actually eat!?" she exclaimed, showing fans her cute 'Mana smile' - a complete 180 from the serious Ashida Mana they saw during the recording.� "It's bigger than my face, I'm really shocked!!"

The adorable, magical Jewelpets began broadcasting as a TV anime titled "Jewelpet Sunshine" in April of 2009. The charming characters and sweetly-colored world are watched mainly by little girls in elementary school.
