Kasuga Toshiaki (41) of comedian duo Audrey made an appearance on the May 16th broadcast of 'Audrey no All Night Nippon' where he announced that his daughter was born on the 8th. 

He stated, "It's something that happened last week, but on May 8, I became a father. A daddy." As he had never mentioned his wife's pregnancy prior to this, Wakabayashi Masayasu, the other half of Audrey, surprisingly reacted, "Eh, really?!" Kasuga explained that he was unable to witness the birth due to these times of the coronavirus pandemic. 

He continued, "Thank you for coming into this world. Daddy will protect you until you're older. I'm not Kasuga anymore. I'm 'Daddy-ga.'"
