Singer Miura Yutaro and voice actress Makino Yui have announced their marriage. 

The two met when Makino appeared on Miura's regular radio program. In a joint statement, they each announced the marriage via their official websites. "We hope to build a cheerful family in our own way by putting our power together. It would make us happy if you would please watch over us warmly," they stated. 

Miura made his major debut as the vocalist for rock band Peaky SALT in 2008. Since the band went on hiatus in 2011, he has been carrying out his solo activities. He gained attention in 2017 with the release of his mother Yamaguchi Momoe's cover album "I'm HOME." Makino had participated as a pianist in Iwai Junji's films since she was a young girl. She then made her debut as a singer and voice actress in 2005. Since then, she has lent her voice in various anime.
