Former KAT-TUN member Junnosuke Taguchi (40) has announced that he is married and has welcomed his first child, a baby boy.

Taguchi shared the news in a video posted to his official YouTube channel on September 22. Although he had already informed members of his fan club, he explained that he wanted to personally share the news in his own voice on YouTube.

His wife is a younger woman who is not in the entertainment industry. Taguchi recalled meeting her during what he described as one of the lowest points in his life, saying that she became a "light of hope" for him.

Taguchi was a member of KAT-TUN until his departure in March 2016. He has since continued his career as a solo entertainer and actor while also pursuing business ventures.
