XG has released their new single "DEPENDS" along with its music video. The group has also revealed the identities behind seven mysterious Instagram accounts that recently caught fans' attention.

"DEPENDS" combines late 2000s and early 2010s electropop with R&B influences, featuring layered harmonies and changing flows. The song explores the idea that emotions and decisions are not always as simple as "yes" or "no."

The music video features seven colorful creatures, each representing a member of XG. The members chase the creatures through four different sets, showcasing a playful and surreal side of the group. The video also features a variety of looks inspired by 1980s fashion, 1990s R&B, and street culture, along with a dance break.

The single also includes "S.A.D," a track that combines early 2000s R&B influences with modern beats and a nostalgic harp melody. The song explores feelings of sadness without defining them as either a weakness or a strength.

XG performed "DEPENDS" live for the first time during their XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE concert at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on November 5.

Meanwhile, the group has confirmed that the seven mysterious accounts recently followed by their official Instagram account belong to the individual members.
