Dance and vocal group M!LK members Sano Hayato and Yoshida Jinto have tested positive for COVID-19.
On the group's official website, it was announced, "By October 9th, it was confirmed that our artists Sano Hayato and Yoshida Jinto have been infected with the novel coronavirus." They explained, "On the morning of October 8th, we were contacted that one member wasn't feeling well, so we had him see a doctor on the same day. After taking the PCR test, he was diagnosed positive for coronavirus, so all of M!LK's work that day was called off. Afterwards, the members who were at the same place the day before all received the PCR test. We then received news on October 9th.that a second person was positive."
Regarding this, member Shiozaki Daichi wrote on the group's official blog, "I am sorry for causing you to worry. I took the PCR test and was negative." He added, "However, we are always at risk of being infected. Which is why in order to minimize that risk, we will continue to do our best to prevent infection. Let's get through this together."
