Kazuya Kamenashi and Jin Akanishi, formerly members of KAT-TUN, have sparked speculation about a possible collaboration after both announcing the launch of a new website, "jinkame.com," through their official X accounts on November 8.
The website features a countdown set to end at 6:00 a.m. JST on November 11, although no details have been revealed about what will be announced.
Kamenashi and Akanishi were once a popular duo among KAT-TUN fans, known as "JinKame."
KAT-TUN was formed in 2001 with Kamenashi, Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, and Yuichi Nakamaru. The group made their major debut in March 2006 with the single "Real Face."
Akanishi left the group in 2010, followed by Tanaka in 2013 and Taguchi in 2016. KAT-TUN continued as a three-member group until disbanding at the end of March 2025, when Kamenashi also departed STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.
Fans can visit jinkame.com to follow the countdown.
