On November 14, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu updated her Instagram account revealing that she received ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) surgery. 

Kyary wrote, "I received ICL surgery the other day. My eyes are bad, and my astigmatism is severe, so I had been troubled about it for a long time. But after receiving surgery, I had 20/20 vision the following day! Everything is vivid, and above all, I'm impressed that I can see right away when I wake up in the morning."

She continued to express, "I'm happy I can see Ame-chan [her dog] clearly. I'm also excited because I can wear color contacts over time." 

ICL surgery is a vision correction procedure in which a small lens is implanted into the eye, and is said to be safer than Lasik surgery. Previously, Sashihara Rino revealed that she received this surgery.
