On January 28, Up Front Promotion announced that former ANGERME member Murota Mizuki's management contract had expired on December 31 of last year. 

Up Front Promotion explained on their website, "Upon discussion regarding her activities after graduation, we accepted her intention of taking a step forward in a new environment to aim for her next goal and reached this conclusion." 

Murota also wrote on the website, "Ever since I reached the age of discretion, it was my dream to become an idol. Becoming one, I was able to experience many wonderful things. Joining ANGERME, meeting the members of ANGERME, working in Hello! Project. I am very grateful." She continued, "When I am completely ready, I am thinking of restarting, so please wait for a me a little bit longer. Please continue to support my future activities."
