It's been reported that music producer Komuro Tetsuya (62) and globe's KEIKO (48) have officially divorced.

Komuro and KEIKO married in 2002. In 2011, KEIKO suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, and since then, Komuro had been supporting her during rehabilitation. However, in 2018, 'Shukan Bunshun' reported that Komuro was having an affair with a nurse. While he initially denied the reports, he retired from the music industry to take responsibility for the uproar. 

On Avex Management's official website, KEIKO announced, "At this time, I, KEIKO, would like to announce that Komuro Tetsuya-san and I have finalized the divorce arbitration proceedings. To my fans and persons concerned, I apologize for the worry and inconvenience that this situation has caused." 

She also mentioned her intent to resume her activities, "Since I was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2011, I received many words of sympathy as well as words of encouragement from many people. I was saved and supported by everyone's kindness and did my best. Fortunately, I do not have any major after-effects, and I am living every day with vigor. While managing my health, I will do my best as an artist in order to repay everyone." 

Finally, she stated, "I will move forward with new feelings and a strong determination. It would make me happy if you would continue to watch over me warmly. I ask for your continued support."
