Composer Kikuchi Shunsuke passed away on April 24 due to aspiration pneumonia. He was 89 years old. 

Kikuchi is known for composing the theme songs for many TV programs including the 'Doraemon' and 'Kamen Rider' series, as well as 'Yoshimune Hyobanki Abarenbo Shogun,' 'Tiger Mask,' 'G-Men '75,' 'Dr. Slump Arale-chan,' and more. He took his last breath at the hospital where he had been receiving treatment for some time. His funeral has already been held with relatives, and his memorial event is currently undecided.
