NMB48 member Hongo Yuzuha has announced her graduation from the group.

Hongo made the announcement on April 4 during Team M's show 'Koi wa Totsuzen Yattekuru.' She explained, "It was a dream of mine since elementary school to become a part of NMB48, and it's been eight years since I joined. I have a lot of memories and experiences in NMB48. Before I turned 20, I thought about my life and made the decision to graduate."

She continued, "I was able to continue until now thanks to everyone who supports me, the staff, members, and my family. I haven't figured out the details after graduation, but I want to challenge myself to a new job. Also, I pray that I will be able to see everyone again someday." 

Hongo expressed, "Namba is like my home. Although I couldn't be the center or ace of NMB48, I will be leaving Namba with confidence that my smile is second to none. So please push my back gently." Finally, she said, "It was a long eight years, but I am so happy to have met everyone. Last but not least, I am planning on graduating around June. The time I have isn't very long, but please support me until the day I say 'ittekimasu' with a smile."

Hongo joined NMB48 during AKB48's Second Draft Kaigi in 2015. She was a senbatsu member for the first time in the group's 26th single "Koi to Ai to Sono Aida ni wa" released in February of 2022. She is also known as NMB48's gravure queen.
