Daisuke Yokoyama, also known as "Daisuke Onii-san," has issued a heartfelt apology in response to the recent controversy surrounding one of his TikTok dance videos. In the video, Yokoyama used a song with lyrics that touched upon sensitive topics, including pedophilia, which understandably stirred criticism.
In his sincere statement, Yokoyama acknowledged the gravity of the situation, saying, "We have received a lot of feedback from everyone regarding the song we used on TikTok. This time, without knowing the lyrics or background of the song, we imitated the dance and posted it just because it was trendy. Thank you for your support. I am very sorry for deeply hurting those who supported me and for making many people feel uncomfortable."
Taking full responsibility, he added, "It's all because of my lack of awareness."
"We will take everyone's feedback seriously and strive to ensure that something like this never happens again. In the future, we will carefully examine and understand the content before disseminating it responsibly."
In an effort to address concerns, Yokoyama announced, "We take everyone's opinions seriously and will delete our TikTok account. I am deeply sorry for being so careless and shallow in my position. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
