Singer-songwriter miwa recently took to Instagram to share that she has moved to Canada. 

In a handwritten note, miwa said, "Right now, I am writing this message from Canada. As a new challenge, I have started living in Canada from August. This is my first time in Canada, but the people are kind and it's nice to be in a city that's close to nature. You only live once. New challenges become new experiences. I hope to use these in my music as well." 

She continued, "I have been making preparations in order to continue being active in Japan, so please don't be sad! My 7th tour will be on DVD and Blu-ray on October 30. With this, I am thinking of a plan to visit everyone across Japan in the fall. (Maybe a screening event?) I am happy to finally be able to see everybody!"  

Finally, she stated, "I will also hold my annual Billboard live tour, so please look forward to it. With my 15th anniversary coming up, I have been discussing and preparing with the staff about how I can directly deliver my feelings of gratitude to those who always support me.
