LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT has issued an important notice addressing ongoing issues of disruptive behavior and harassment directed at its artists, including groups JO1, INI, and ME:I. While the company expressed gratitude to the many fans who continue to support the artists respectfully, it also emphasized the need for stronger efforts to prevent harmful actions.
In the announcement, LAPONE reiterated its concerns about the negative impact that harassment and defamation have on both the artists and their supporters. Despite a previous notice in July 2024 outlining the prohibition of stalking and other disruptive behaviors, these actions have unfortunately continued. As a result, LAPONE called on fans once again to respect boundaries and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for everyone involved.
The company detailed examples of unacceptable behaviors, including stalking artists in public spaces, taking unauthorized photos or videos, and spreading private information on social media. They also addressed illegal activities such as the sharing of banned recordings from live performances and unauthorized distribution of paid content.
To address these ongoing issues, LAPONE has taken steps to enhance monitoring of social media and online platforms. The company has also partnered with law enforcement and other external organizations to enforce stricter measures against those found engaging in disruptive behavior.
LAPONE encouraged fans who witness any instances of harassment to report them through the designated reporting channels, ensuring that everyone can continue to enjoy a safe and positive experience supporting JO1, INI, ME:I, and other artists under the label.
