
GENIC, the dynamic seven-member pop group from Japan, has just released their fourth album, if, on February 5. Known for their unique blend of "pop & cool" music, the album takes fans on a journey through a "what if" world, bringing to life the group’s signature style.

The 14-track album showcases a mix of infectious pop and cool beats, featuring two theme songs from popular TV dramas and two tracks linked to commercials featuring GENIC members themselves. In addition to the music, fans will get an extra treat with over three hours of video content.
GENIC's music videos continue to play with the album's theme. In FUN! FUN! FUN!, viewers are transported to a colorful miracle island, while IT’S SHOWTIME imagines the group as a J-pop ensemble from the 1990s, complete with retro flair. These tracks create fun, parallel universes for fans to enjoy and immerse themselves in.

Beyond their music, the members of GENIC have been branching out into various forms of entertainment. Atsuki Mashiko, for instance, made his mark on the stage in the London production of Spirited Away as the character Haku. Their expanding presence shows the group's versatility and growing influence in the entertainment industry.
Looking ahead, GENIC’s future continues to shine bright. With a performance at the iconic Nippon Budokan scheduled for November 5, 2025, the group is set to captivate audiences with their unique "pop & cool" style, blending music, performance, and creativity like only they can.
