Reno Nakamura of Nogizaka46 has announced her graduation from the group.

Nakamura joined Nogizaka46 as a third-generation member in September 2016. She was selected as a senbatsu member for the first time in the 33rd single "Ohitorisama Tengoku" released last August. Additionally, Nakamura has been active as an actress, starring in the role of Rika in the stage productions 'Endless SHOCK' and 'Endless SHOCK -Eternal-' from 2023 to 2024.

Through her official blog, Nakamura explained her decision to graduate, saying, "I had been thinking about it for some time, but the major change in my heart occurred between the 33rd and 34th singles." She continued, "Now, I feel that I would like to support the group's future as a fan rather than being part of Nogizaka46, and this feeling gradually became a confirmed decision." 

Nakamura also expressed her desire to pursue a career as an actress, stating, "Leaving Nogizaka and working independently is going to be even more challenging. Honestly, it's scary to step into the world outside, and I lack confidence, but I have encountered something I want to challenge myself with. I may fail many times, but I want to experience everything from the beginning and work hard to become a distinguished actress."

The specific dates for Nakamura's final activities are still being arranged, but it's known that she will not participate in the group's 38th single "Navel Orange," which will be released on March 26. Regarding her remaining time with Nogizaka46, Nakamura said, "As an idol, I want to show my final appearance and express my gratitude directly. I am thinking of ways to spend time with everyone. I’m not sure how it will turn out, but I hope we can create a final memory together."
