STARTO ENTERTAINMENT has announced that its agent contract with DOMOTO will expire on July 21.

The duo, formerly known as KinKi Kids before changing their name to DOMOTO in 2025, has been working under an agent contract with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT since April 2024.

In a joint statement, Koichi Domoto and Tsuyoshi Domoto announced that they will begin managing the group's activities themselves following the contract's expiration. Meanwhile, Koichi will continue his individual agent contract with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.

"DOMOTO will now manage our group activities ourselves," they said. "While our environment will change significantly, the values we've always cherished will remain the same. We will continue to treasure the bond between the two of us as we move forward together with smiles, creating a world that is uniquely ours."

DOMOTO is scheduled to hold 'DOMOTO Concert 2026 ~Stay with me~' at Tokyo Dome on July 15 and 16, followed by performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 22 and 23.
