Hamasaki Ayumi's 48th single "MOON/blossom", took the No.1 spot on the Oricon weekly single ranking (7/26).� Ayu's singles have taken No.1 since "Free&Easy" in 2002, which is 23 consecutive singles at No.1 - breaking a new record as a solo artist.
Ayu also holds the solo artist record for most singles at No.1 on the Oricon chart, which was 34 times, but now with "MOON/blossom", she broke her own record with 35 times. �Ayu's record for most singles to hit No.1 is 2nd place overall (including all artists), but she still holds No.1 as a solo artist (B'z has the record of No.1 singles on Oricon with 43 times).
