We previously reported that AKB48 would be getting their own manga, and it has now been running since August. �It seems the trend is spreading though, and�the recent issue of the Monthly Young Magazine has come out with exciting news for AKB48 fans; for the month of October, they will be running a special series of AKB48 comics that revolve around popular member, Sashiko (formerly Sashihara Rino).

The AKB48 members came together to help with the creation of these four panel comic strips for the magazine, and starting with the next issue, they will begin a new segment in the magazine.� Sashiko will have a special corner called "petite gravure and interviews", where she will discuss her feelings on her character and illustrations.

September's issue features Watarirouka Hashiritai, a sub-unit of AKB48, on the cover, and has a segment on fellow sub-unit, No Sleeves.� The Young Magazine has basically become required reading for AKB48 fans, so idol lovers should definitely start picking up this magazine!
