With spring comes stronger UV rays, and the season is one filled with new encounters and interactions, and therefore first impressions are even more important than before.

In response to these concerns, ORICON STYLE conducted a survey amongst women ranging in age from their teens to their forties in regards to "Female Celebrities With Enviably Beautiful Skin", and actress Ayase Haruka emerged on top. Despite being extremely busy between acting in dramas, starring in movies, and appearing in commercials, Ayase maintains her beautiful, translucent skin perfectly. Upon hearing the results of the poll, the actress expressed,�"I'm so happy! But now I have to take even better care of my skin (laughter)".�Ayase advised readers to "properly moisturize as well as sleep well!"

The actress is currently starring in commercials for cosmetics brand Max Factor, as well as landing covers for numerous fashion magazines. Ayase's skin is so alluring that even members of her own gender want to touch it.

In second place comes charming actress Koyuki, whose complexion is snow white and translucent as her name (Koyuki means "little snow") suggests. Many of her supporters are of her generation, and one of her fans, a lady in her 30s from Aichi prefecture, expressed, "I always envied her while watching commercials, dramas, and so on".

Rounding out the top three is actress Kanno Miho, who appeared in the film "Permanent Nobara", her first starring role in eight years, last year. Famous for her drama roles and endorsements for Kao Corporation's cosmetics line, Sofina, and fashion brand, 23ku, Kanno has left a wonderful impression on the Japanese nation with her beautiful white skin.

The preservation of radiantly beautiful skin has been one of the top priorities for women since the beginning of time, which explains why celebrities who have aged gracefully were also popular choices in this survey; actresses Nagasaku Hiromi (40),�Kuroki Hitomi (50), and model Hirako Risa (40) also ranked in the top ten at fourth place, eighth place, and�ninth place, respectively.

While missing the top ten, actress and model Takei Emi, who has been receiving a lot of attention recently, was ranked third in popularity by teen voters. Takei is bound to attract more fame through her upcoming drama role as a high school student in a forbidden romance with her teacher, as well as starring in the commercial for Shiseido's cosmetic line,�Maquillage.
