The giant rock festival SUMMER SONIC is soon approaching and the guests and hosts for the joint event of KID'S DISCO have finally been announced.� The KID's DISCO event started in Tokyo last year and will be run during the SUMMER SONIC festival for children of the attendees.� This year they will have DJ G.RINA, MOODMAN, and busy P as guests for the children.

The SUMMER SONIC festival itself will span two days, August 7th and 8th, in Osaka.� NHK Bshi will be televising the event on August 8th.� The show is long enough that it will be broken down into two parts; Part one from 3PM to 6PM and part two from 6:45PM to 8PM.� The schedule of events will also be changed slightly.� Performer deadmau5 will not be able to make it due to deteriorating health.� This will change the timetable for the DANCE STAGE with Maika and JASMINE slightly.� Set lists are posted here, but for more information on up-to-date schedule changes fans should visit the official SUMMER SONIC website.

Despite the lineup changes, the festival will sport one of the largest and most diverse assortments of performers.� SUMMER SONIC is overflowing with big name stars such as JASMINE, MUCC, MONKEY MAJIK, BIG BANG, Anna Tsuchiya, ONE OK ROCK, BEAT CRUSADERS, ROCK'A TRENCH, lecca, the pillows, and Kago Ai.� They will even have western singers such as Taylor Swift, Jay Z, 3OH!3, The Offspring, Nas, and Stevie Wonder.
