"PLUTO" is a remake manga that was written by�Urasawa Naoki in 2003, and it's based on�an episode from Tezuka Osamu's "Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy)" called, "The Greatest Robot on Earth". �Recently, Universal and Illumination Entertainment announced�that�"PLUTO" would be adapted into a live action/CG Hollywood film.

The details surrounding the film have not yet been revealed, but the eldest son of Tezuka Osamu, Tezuka Makoto, will be joining the production as an executive producer.

Urasawa commented, "A challenger to take on the live action movie of 'PLUTO' has appeared! I, as a big fan of Tezuka Osamu, will look forward the movie with high expectations."
