Kamei Eri, Junjun, Linlin graduate from Morning Musume
Morning Musume held their "Morning Musume. Concert Tour 2010 Aki~Rival Survival~ Kamei Eri, Jun Jun, Lin Lin Soutsugyou Special” at the Yokohama Arena on December 15th, and it was a particularly emotional affair as three of their members - Kamei Eri, Junjun, and Linlin - graduated from Morning Musume and Hello! Project.
The group performed a total of 24 songs, including their latest single "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game", and roused the 10,000-member audience for its pivotal moment - the graduation ceremony.
The three members read a letter to the rest of members, and also to their fans.
Kamei Eri :
"It's been almost 8 years since I debuted. It feels like a dream already - how much I cried and smiled during the 8 years! I'm glad to be a part of Morning Musume. I'm glad that I tried hard with the members. I'm glad that I met you fans. Morning Musume is an eternal love, and will be my treasure forever! Starting tomorrow, I won't be 'Kamei Eri of Morning Musume', but I will try hard to shine brightly as the other members do!"
"You are my family in Japan. I will never forget that. I will try my hardest even after I go back to China for you (the fans') sake, for my precious Morning Musume's sake, for all the staffs and Tsunku ♂-san's sake. I hope I will be able to show all of you my growth someday."
"We members have been with each other all the time. Since I'm a only child, I was happy as if we were all family. Tsunku ♂-san, thank you very much for bringing me into this wonderful family. "
The girls, as well as the remaining members, couldn't hold back their tears as these touching letters were read.
After graduating, Kamei Eri will focus on treatment for her atopic dermatitis condition, while both Junjun and Linlin will return to China and prepare for their careers in there.
