It was announced on December 6th that some changes were made regarding the group structures for SKE48.

The group's official website updated with a list of the newly formed 'Team E', which was narrowed down to a selection of 26 'research students'.

'Team KII' is also undergoing some rotations, as four members - Shiori Iguchi, Mikoto Uchiyama, Momona Kito, and Makiko Saito - were demoted to 'research student' status. The newly composed 'Team KII' list was also published on SKE48's official website.

With these changes, SKE48 now has the same structure as their sister group AKB48, which consists of three teams of 16 members each.
