Actress Sawajiri Erika, who is currently in the midst of negotiating her divorce with husband Takashiro Tsuyoshi, has yet to explain her side of the story to her in-laws.

According to those involved, Takashiro's bedridden 78-year-old mother received a phone call from Sawajiri's brother, saying "I'm bringing Erika to come explain." The actress had previously refused to visit her mother-in-law to talk about the divorce, so her brother felt compelled to drag her over to her husband's parent's home in order to finally open discussions.

Unfortunately, the visit was made in vain, as Takashiro's mother was removed from the house. Upon returning home, Erika left a message on her mother-in-law's answering machine explaining the reason for her sudden, forceful visit.

Takashiro's younger sister has also publicly confirmed that a lawyer had been hired against the Sawajiri family for this incident.
