Many popular Japanese actresses also juggle a singing career, but who among them is the most successful? NTT Docomo collected 43545 votes, asking� people which actress they thought was also memorable as a singer. Actress Shibasaki Kou came out on top with an overwhelming lead.

In 2003, Shibasaki released the song "Tsuki no Shizuku" under the name RUI, her character from the movie, "Yomigaeri". The song became a huge hit, and she followed that up with "Kiss shite" under the name KOH+, which became popular as the theme for television drama, "Galileo".

Coming in 2nd place was Shinohara Ryoko, who is best known for her 1994 single,�"Itoshisa to Setsunasa to Kokoro Tsuyosa to". As the theme for "Streetfighter II MOVIE", the track was rated Million and topped the 1994 Yearly Oricon Singles Chart.
