Several weeks ago, various media outlets reported that actress Sawajiri Erika and hyper-media-creator Takashiro Tsuyoshi would get officially divorced on May 16th - their personal "Day X", as it was titled in headlines, but today they found out that the papers have not yet been handed in to the proper authorities.

Sawajiri herself is currently staying in Spain to film a new commercial for a certain haircare brand, therefore she isn't able to make a statement. Somebody among her staff made a comment on that matter, but it's rather vague. That person said, "To this day, the divorce papers have not been handed it. No person other than Sawajiri can hand them in."

Her schedule also makes it hard to believe that she ever planned to hand them in on May 16th. She was supposed to return to Japan after the filming around May 18th, but due to certain circumstances her return had to be delayed to May 20th.

Sawajiri is still expected to hand in the divorce papers as soon as arrives back in Japan.
