On June 14th, AKB48 dropped by the Nippon Budokan to perform at the��LOVE in Action Meeting LIVE�. The �LOVE in Action Meeting LIVE� is part of the Japanese Red Cross' �LOVE in Action Project�, which is geared towards getting youths to donate blood.

The following 16 AKB members participated in the event: Itano Tomomi, Oshima Yuko, Komori Mika, Oota Aika, Kasai Tomomi, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kikuchi Ayaka, Kuramochi Asuka, Kojima Haruna, Sashihara Rino, Shinoda Mariko, Takahashi Minami, Nito Moeno, Minegishi Minami, Yokoyama Yui and Watanabe Mayu.

A few of the girls left some comments throughout the performances:

Oshima Yuko: �I think that through this event, everyone will become more�knowledgeable�about blood donations. We hope that through our singing and dancing, we can give a little more power to everyone who was affected by the Great Tohoku Earthquake.�

Kashiwagi Yuki: �The number of blood donors in their teens and 20s has decreased, so we hope that we can let everyone know more about donating blood today.�

The girls kicked off their performance with "Heavy Rotation", before moving onto "Dareka no Tame ni ~What can I do for someone~", "Ponytail to Shushu", "Aitakatta", and finally "Everyday, Kachuusha".
