On July 30th a thief trespassed at the AKB48 Theater stealing a wall-mounted picture of CG-idol Eguchi Aimi in the process.

The official AKB48 blog writes, that the person who stole the picture probably did it on a whim and meant no harm. They also note�the thief is probably feeling regret right about now. Since the culprit may be feeling remorse, AKB48 Theater only wishes that they would come back and return the photo.

�We could easily make a new photo. It just doesn�t have any meaning if that is done. Up until now, not one wall-mounted picture has been stolen, that�s �proof� that the theater and fans have such a strong relationship,� writes the staff.

It appears like management doesn�t want to press charges against the person who stole the picture, they would just like it returned. �It would make us happy if you could return the photo to the theater. And, I believe that this won�t happen again a second time.�
