On July 23rd, actors Narimiya Hiroki and Kaga Takeshi discussed about their upcoming play 'Taiyou ni Yakarete'�after the final full-dress rehearsal at Tennozu Galaxy Theater.

As tokyohive previously reported, 'Taiyou ni Yakarete' is Narimiya's first stage appearance in nearly four years. 'Taiyou ni Yakarete' is based off the Academy Award-winning 1994 film 'Burnt By The Sun', a masterpiece set during the time when the Soviet Union was a super-power.

The two actors appeared to have become good friends in the course of rehearsing for the play, which opens on July 24th. "I had this image of him drinking brandy on a leather couch, but he's a charming guy who's always making jokes," said Narimiya jokingly of his co-star Kaga.

The highly-anticipated stage production features a scene of Narimiya tap dancing; it's said that the popular actor practiced every single day in preparation for this scene. "You're good at tap dancing and singing. Do some musicals!" said Kaga with a smile, to which Narimiya quickly replied, "It's impossible." Narimiya will also show off his piano-performing skills during the play.

'Taiyou ni Yakarete' will run in Tokyo from July 24th until August 9th before moving to other parts of the country.
