Actress and model Takei Emi was chosen as "Ms. Lily 2011-2012" on July 2nd, and attended the awards ceremony for the event.

Takei, who is the youngest to win this award, held a lily bouquet in her hand and said, "My name means bearing a smile �just like a blooming flower. There is a connection, and I'm happy to receive such a lovely award."

This year was the 10th time this award ceremony has been held, conveying the versatile beauty and charm of lilies. This year's theme lily was the fresh smelling�Oriental Lily called Nymph, which means fairy. Takei was chosen as the woman who suits this lily the most. She commented, "I'm only 17, so I've never been told that a flower suits me. Right now, people see me as an adult. When I become an adult, I hope people will see me as cute."

Takei decorates her house with flowers she receives from work. When asked who she would give flowers to, she mentioned her mom and said, "She moved out to Tokyo with me and supports my work." She also shared that they have a good mother-daughter relationship, "We go shopping together, and she listens to my stories. I want to become a mom like that."
