AKB48 sub-unit DiVA has announced that they will hold auditions for a new member!

The group is currently made up of Akimoto Sayaka, Umeda Ayaka, Masuda Yuka, and Miyazawa Sae. DiVA will be the first of any AKB48 sub-units who will welcome non-AKB48 members.

For this audition, applicants must be from ages 18 to 23, with dance experience.�The auditions will consist of three rounds: the first round being applications,the second round is of interviews, and the final round will have dancing and singing in front of DiVA. Successful candidates will sign with Office48, and join DiVA as new members. Applications are due by August 20th.

Additionally, DiVA has announced an event for the release of their latest single, "Cry". The event is called, "Mini Live + Osuki na Mono ni Stamp PON!!!", and fans will be able to receive a special stamp designed by members of DiVA on whatever they want.
