Former Morning Musume member Konno Asami (now a rookie announcer for TV Tokyo) appeared as the MC for a DVD release event for "Zakkuri Senshi Piramekid", a work from kids variety show "Pirameki-no".

The event was held at TOWER RECORDS in Shibuya on August 19th, and included a talk show and handshake meeting. In the beginning, Konno seemed a little nervous, but she put on a smile when fans cheered her on, saying, "Invincible MC KonKon".

Konno showed off her ad-lib skills�along with some witty jokes, which drew compliments from comedian Kanada Satoshi (Hannya): "She did a wonderful job, she's nothing like a rookie announcer." C-ute's Yajima Maimi also commented, "It's been a while since I met her, and I was so surprised that her voice has changed a lot."

"Pirameki-no", which airs Monday-Friday at 6:00 PM,� is a comedy variety show featuring Hannya and��Fruits Punch. The event drew appearances from Kanada (who plays a�main character, Hannya), C-ute's Yajima Maimi, and actor Kajihara Zen.
