It's been reported that actress Sakai Maki (41) gave birth to her first child!

The actress welcomed her new baby girl, weighing at 7lbs. 15oz., before dawn on August 18th. Her husband Suzuki Shin (31) was present at the time of birth, and they celebrated their joy together. Both Sakai and her baby are healthy.

Sakai married Suzuki in 2009, and in March of this year, she announced her pregnancy of five months through her official blog. She plans to decide her return date after carefully considering her health.

Congratulations to both Sakai and Suzuki on the birth of their new baby!
