On September 23rd, actor Mukai Osamu attended a stage greeting for his movie, "Bokutachi wa Sekai wo Kaerukotoga Deninai. But, we wanna build a school in Cambodia.", at Shinjuku Balto with fellow cast members Matsuzaka Tori, Emoto Tasuku, and Kubota Masataka.

While Mukai appeared at the event with a smile, he shed tears of emotion after hearing a voice message from director Fukasaku Kenta, who couldn't attend the event due to conflicting schedules for a different shoot. For a few seconds, Mukai's eyes were swollen, and he seemed unable to speak. However, as he took the microphone, he expressed, "While making the film with many people, I felt that the relationship between the director and the main character was very important. As everyone faced the same direction with the director, we were able to focus on one thing, and gained awareness to make it with this outlook. I think that we are able to leave this movie as it is because of the director's strength."

He continued, "I'm happy that I was able to make this movie with the staff. It was a good experience, and I also made memories. It's a work of confidence that will be seen by many people."

The movie was also shot in Cambodia. Mukai commented, "I think the movie chose it. It was fate, or should I say, it was inevitable." Regarding the film, he said, "The main character is not the most superior, and it's not my movie. It's a movie that everyone made together. It was wonderful that we shared thatconsciousness."

After the event, they held a photo session with the audience in the background.

The movie portrays a story about a normal college student who engages in volunteer activities to build a school for the children of Cambodia. Directed by Fukasaku Kenta, who is known for the movie, "Onaji Tsuku wo Miteiru", it is based on a self-published essay by Hada Kota.

"Bokutachi wa Sekai wo Kaerukotoga Deninai. But, we wanna build a school in Cambodia." is now showing at theatres nationwide.
