Gamers all over the world are hitting up Tokyo this weekend, as the Tokyo Game Show 2011 (TGS) opened it's doors to the public today (September 17th & 18th JST).

As TGS gets underway, so are the some of the industries biggest gaming companies.

Today NIS America announced at TGS that it will be releasing four games in America. "Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound" for Android; "Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2" for PlayStation 3; "Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention" for PlayStation Vita; "Clan of Champions" (*working title) for PlayStation 3, XBOX360, and PC.

"Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound"

"This game builds upon the original Disgaea�s intuitive battle system and quirky storyline, with an engine optimized for Android cell phones. Disgaea�s game system is simple yet addictive. It has the same basic concept as other strategy RPGs, but uses many unique features and enhancements that make this game unprecedented. The Android version of Disgaea has been streamlined, but it will keep the same gameplay we all know and love."

As a Android user myself, I am looking forward to seeing how well they incorporate this type of game on the Android and what devices it will play best with. I am also wondering what system it will be compatable with since it's release date is this winter and ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) is making it's way sometime near the end of this year.

"Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2"

"The game will release in Spring 2012 and is is a sequel to the popular RPG HyperdimensionNeptunia, which allows you to take control of a humanoid version of fantasy game consoles. For NeptuniaMk2 you will once again become a console goddess to protect the land of Gamindustri.

It also has a new free-roaming style battle system, streamline combo system for faster combo execution, new item synthesis system, and guild system for multiple missions.

"Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention"

"Disgaea�3 is the third game in the Disgaea� series, a hardcore, turn-based strategy RPG series made popular on the PlayStation�3 and PlayStation�Portable. In Disgaea�, character units have a limit to their movement and attack ranges based on level and weapons equipped. There are other special game systems that let you take advantage of the 3D battle map, many of which are unique to the Disgaea� series.

Some of key features in the game are "Geo Blocks" which are cube-shaped terrain-altering objects allow players to manipulate a stage�s rules and reach enemies that would normally be out of reach. "Geo Panels" that are colored panels will appear on the game map and will bestow various effects depending on which Geo Blocks are placed on them. Drop a Geo Block on one panel, and every panel of the same color will share that Block�s effect, which can range from EXP bonuses to unit damage, or even invincibility. And "Item World", a set of special randomly-generated battle stages exist within each and every item you find. Clearing these stages will allow you to boost that item�s power."

The game is scheduled for a Spring 2012 release.

"Clan of Champions"

This title is being developed by Acquire Corp., best known for its Tenchu series. "Clan of Champions" is a hardcore multiplayer action game. You will choose from 3 different characters - human, elf, or orc - and take on missions, each of which is different in content and length. You can either play by yourself or with other players in co-op mode, and up to 3 players can play simultaneously online. There is also a 3 vs 3 team battle mode where you can fight with, and against, your friends. There will be a large amount of DLC for additional quests, items, and weapons for the future."

Key features of the game are multiplayer, in which you can either choose to play in 3-person team co-op mode or 3 vs 3 head-to-head mode; customization and weapon mastering.

The title is currently a 'working title' so it may change and it will be released in Spring 2012.
