On October 8th, actor Matsuda Shota held a fan meeting at the 16th Busan International Film Festival in Korea for his movie, 'Hard Romantic-er'.

Wearing a black suit, Matsuda appeared on a special stage alongside director Gu Su Yeon.  Many of his hardcore fans rushed the stage which caused an uproar for a moment.  Matsuda expressed, "Korea has shameless power, so it was funny.  I was impressed."

Set in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, 'Hard Romantic-er' is a violent movie that portrays the story of the main character 'Gu'. Although his name is known by foreigners, police, and gangs, he is a loner who hates interacting with other people. Gu is dragged into a chain of violence after his junior triggers a certain incident.

Regarding the lifestyle of a 'hard romantic-er', Matsuda commented, "I am living powerfully, but I can't live 'hard' entirely. That would be kind of cute."  He continued, "I want people all over the world to see the way of life that is portrayed in this movie."

'Hard Romantic-er' will be exhibited at the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival on October 26th. It is scheduled to hit theatres nationwide on November 26th.
