On November 20th, 9nine member Satake Uki (19) held a release event for her 2012 poster calendar.

Earlier, it was revealed that 9nine's new song, "Chikutaku?2NITE", will be used as the theme song for Aragaki Yui's starring drama, "Ranma 1/2". At the event, Satake commented,�"I'm a 'Ranma otaku' and I used to watch the anime, so I'm very happy." She continued, "I'm infatuated just knowing that Gakky-san will star in it. I'm excited to see how the shameless scenes will turn out."

Satake's last calendar in her teens was shot in Bali back in August. She shared, "I'm usually an 'ameonna' (woman whose presence causes rain), but during the shoot, it was sunny. I was able to shoot in the best conditions. You can see that I've become more mature and graceful from the last time."

Reflecting upon this year, Satake stated, "A lot of things happened as a member of 9nine and as an individual. It turned out to be a complete year." She also revealed, "I have so many things I want to do, so I want to hurry up and turn 20. First of all, I want to drink, and go to a beauty salon like an adult woman."
