It's been revealed that AKB48's sister unit HKT48 will be holding their first showcase on November 26th!

This was announced on November 14th, during a press conference at HKT48 Theater in Fukuoka. 21 HKT48's first generation members attended the press conference, and introduced themselves one-by-one.

Additionally, a video message by AKB48, SKE48, and NMB48 was presented during the second half of the event, causing some members to swell up into tears.

The set list is scheduled to be announced on the day of the showcase. Ticket information will be available on HKT48 Theater's official webpage.

<How do you feel about your first showcase?>

Kodama Haruka: It was decided earlier than I expected, so I'm surprised. Using my senpais' messages as encouragement, I want to bring out Hakata (a ward in Fukuoka).

Matsuoka Natsumi: I'm surprised because the first day is my mom's birthday. I'm deeply moved.

Murashige Anna: I definitely want to make people think, 'I want to see HKT48 again!'.

Moriyasu Madoka: I'm nervous, but I'm excited.

Miyawaki Sakura: There isn't much time until our first showcase, but I want to do whatever I can to make it the best stage.

Nakanishi Chiyori: We are having a wonderful theater being prepared for us, so we want to do our best not to lose to it.

<What kind of group do you want to be?>

Matsuoka Natsumi: I want to become a group of 'personality'. We'll do our best with smiles and energy!

Miyawaki Sakura: I want to become a group that will make the audience happy and strive for tomorrow.

Nakanishi Chiyori: I want to give dreams to people and tell them 'Even I can do it!' to those who don't have confidence in themselves.

Murashige Anna: I want to become an idol that will be loved and respected by everyone.

Kodama Haruka: We are the youngest 48 group, so I want to do my best by using my youthfulness and fresh power as weapons!
