It's been reported that NMB48 2nd generation research student Takiyama Akane (17) will be graduating from the group.

This sudden news was announced during NMB48's performance on December 10th. Takiyama passed the 2nd generation auditions back in May, and made her theater debut in August. However, she's decided to pursue her dream of going to college, and so she'll be graduating from the group when she enters her last year of high school next March.

Takiyama promised her fans, "After accomplishing my goal of going to college, I will be sure to come back on this stage in this theater, because I love this job."

Details on Takiyama's final performance will be announced through the group's official website at a later date.
