AKB48 holds stage greeting for their documentary movie

On January 18th, AKB48 held a stage greeting for their second documentary movie, "DOCUMENTARY of�AKB48 Show must go on Shoujo-tachi wa Kizutsuki Nagara, Yume wo Miru".

Maeda Atsuko commented on the documentary saying, "It really shows the real us," and reflected on last year's Seibu Dome concert with, "I was filled with anxiety, but everyone encouraged me, and I was able to reflect back with an objective viewpoint, so I'm filled with gratitude."

Meanwhile, Takahashi Minami said, "We're idols, but we're also human. It's embarrassing to be watched, but I think it turned out to be a film that will encourage people to do their best and take a step forward."

This film is the sequel to "DOCUMENTARY of AKB48 to be continued", which was released back in 2010. It will feature behind-the-scene footage of the girls, from their first dome concert to their regular performances in Singapore. In addition, the documentary will also contain exclusive interviews of the members.

Other attendees of the event included Kojima Haruna, Kashiwagi Yuki, Takajo Aki, and AKB48 producer Akimoto Yasushi.

The group also announced that their new song, "First Rabbit",will be the ending theme for the film. "DOCUMENTARY of AKB48 Show must go on Shoujo-tachi wa Kizutsuki Nagara, Yume wo Miru" will open in theaters on January 27th.
