12-year-old pianist Ushida Tomoharu to make his CD debut

It's been revealed that 12-year-old pianist Ushida Tomoharu will be making his CD debut! On March 14th, he will release his first album, "Ai no Yume ~Ushida Tomoharu Debut~".

Ushida will be youngest Japanese pianist in history to make a CD debut. When he was just 5-years-old, Ushida took first place among 1,700 people in a competition that was�held in Shanghai. He has also placed first in the "Japan International Piano Competition in ASIA" for five consecutive years.

Ushida's talent�has been attracting much attention in the classical music industry. Pianist Nakamura Hiroko commented, "A piano that is abundant with�flawless and pure euphoria will surely strengthen and encourage us.�The future of Japan is beautiful, wonderful..."

Meanwhile, chief examiner of the "Japan International Piano Competition" Andrzej Jasinski commented, "I was able to feel potential and talent in his performance. The great thing is that each sound has a purpose and claim. Also, it was overflowing with sense of color. Here on, I want him to learn new things and challenge himself to various repertory."

Furthermore, Ushida will be holding his debut performance on July 17th at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.
